2006 – Sawgrass Mills, The Mills subsidiary of Simon Property Group Facilities , Operations & Special Projects Consultant - City of Sunrise electrical permitting issues for landlord and tenant building projects; Life Safety system issues – including Fire Alarm Replacement Project, life safety systems failures, inspection issues, and hurricane damages. Special Project Management of Cooling Tower replacement project, pneumatics system issues, and tenant design criteria. 2002 – Village of Merrick Park, Coral Gables, FL – The Rouse Company, Columbia, MD Served in Regional Operations capacity to National Director of Operations to assist over a period of 3 months; assisted with the opening of this landmark property for The Rouse Company, a South Florida new construction development built by Whiting-Turner, as an Operations supervisor. Responsibilities included systems commissioning, sitework, store completion deadlines, architectural features commissioning, vendor supervision, permitting, project coordination with development staff & operating personnel. Also - returned to provide support to new operations management & staff once the property opened.
2001 – The Rouse Company, Columbia, MD – Governor’s Square Mall, Tallahassee, FL Technical Services Manager – Operations Department - +/- 1,000,000 s.f. regional mall with food court services and 4 anchors on 100 acres; Implemented Operations Department protocol for work order assignment & tracking, facility assessment, HVAC project management, vertical transportation maintenance contracts, in-house maintenance staff management, vendor selection & supervision for housekeeping, landscape – interior & exterior, trash/waste, tenant coordination/store/tenant build-outs & openings, Risk Management & environmental management responsibilities. Capital projects planning and forecast management – 5 year future projections. Position included budget planning, budget tracking and cost management responsibilities. Facility had Landlord maintained Chiller plant, cooling tower, VAV tenant & common area HVAC and 3-phase buss duct electrical re-distribution systems installed. Also performed all MEP plans reviews for capital projects and tenant stores. During tenure also served as Project Coordinator for roofing replacement, public restroom remodel, HVAC retrofit, site redevelopment, evaporator coil replacement project (400 ton) and fire alarm upgrade project planning.
